I have been
teaching golf for many years, and three years ago I decided to
take the USGTF certification course and become fully certified.
Since that time, I have become the golf coach at Athenian High
School in Danville, California, and in 2006 our team won the
league tournament and qualified for the California North Coast
Sectional.
In addition, I have been invited for the third year to teach at
the prestigious Kraft-Nabisco LPGA tournament in Palm Desert,
California, working with Kraft VIP invitees to the tournament in
both instruction and playing lessons at Mission Hills Country
Club.
The most unique aspect of my teaching has been the state of the
art teaching facility in Walnut Creek, where we are using
real-time live video for swing analysis, swing flaw correction,
and interactive practice sessions. This system allows for the
maximum efficiency in identifying swing flaws, and accelerates
the learning process by providing a “swing blueprint” customized
for each student to follow. This allows them to alleviate those
flaws and progress at a much faster rate of improvement.
