Paul DiStefano
USGTF Level III Member, Staten Island, New York

Thanks to the USGTF, I am one of the most sought-after golf instructors in the New York area. The USGTF has opened more doors than I could have imagined.

I am currently the director of golf instruction at the two YMCA’s in Staten Island. I am also the senior golf instructor for advanced students for the Staten Island Junior Golf Program, and the senior golf instructor for advanced students at the New York City Parks Foundation Golf Academy at Dyker Heights Junior Golf Center in Brooklyn.

Currently, I am working seven days a week and loving every minute of it. Although the money is great, I would do it for free, because that is how much I love what I am doing. Thanks to the USGTF, I am now sharing my passion, teaching golf, especially to children.

In 2006 and 2007, I was the assistant pro at LaTourette Golf Course in Staten Island. I would have loved to have stayed as the assistant pro there, but as you can see, with me working seven days a week, I didn’t have time for that job in addition. I’m hoping that cloning comes around soon!

Again, I could not have achieved these positions without the USGTF. I thank you and the whole staff at USGTF and will be indebted to you all forever.
